Minky is a very soft, cozy, fluffy, and silky type of fabric. It is 100% polyester and comes in many different colors and textures (thousands of different combinations). Depending on the type of minky, the blankets can be lighter (prints, solids, hides) or heavier (bunny, seal, frost) in weight.

For the best results: machine wash in cold water with gentle detergent, hang to dry or lay flat, tumble on low to medium heat. No fabric softener.

The minky fabric itself is quite expensive. Along with that is the difficulty of sewing all the different types and combinations. All of our blankets are hand sewn by the owner.
Plums and Pumpkins only uses an industrial sewing machines to make our products. These machines give the greatest and finest possible stitch. We want our customers to know they are getting only the best item possible.

Absolutely! Please fill out all the available information on this form and we will get that started for you. The time frame can be anywhere from 1-2 weeks if we have the fabric available. Any print not in house will be 2-3 weeks in production. All production times can vary depending on shipping turn around times with the manufacturers.

Orders & Shipping

All blankets on this website ship parcel post USPS 5-7 business days turn around time! We ship priority for an additional charge. When we have shipped your item you will get a tracking number. Once we have shipped your blanket it is in the hands of USPS. If your item is lost, damaged, or stolen you must go through USPS. We currently only use USPS. We ship mostly on the next 1-2 business days and use parcel shipping 3-5 business days to get your item. We will also ship priority for an additional cost. That turn around time is usually 2-3 days.
Absolutely! Tracking is sent to your email address that is used with your purchase.
Yes; we love to ship internationally! If you are unable to receive an international rate through our shopping cart, please contact us directly. All applicable duties, tariffs, and customs fees are the responsibility of the customer and can be paid for at the time of checkout. Packages rejected because of tariffs, cannot be refunded for shipping.

Yes! Store Pick Up is available at Strawberry Fields locally. During online check out, you will be able to select the delivery method you would like. Once your order arrives at the store, we will notify you by email that it is ready for pick up. Please make sure we have your correct contact information before you check out.

Allow up to 3 business days for your order to prepare to be shipped to your local store. Please pick up your order within 48 hours of notification. Store hours apply.

Local porch delivery is also available upon request.


Our seamstresses will be happy to repair your blanket within 30 days of purchase, with proof of purchase. Due to regulations, items must be unused or gently used, and freshly washed. All blankets come with a one year structural guarantee.

Returns & Exchanges

We do not accept returns for payment refunds.

We do not accept exchanges for any reason.

We know you will love your blanket as much as we love making them!  If there is a problem with your blanket within 14 days of receiving it, such as defects to the blanket, we will replace the blanket with a similar one, or let you choose a different blanket with the return of the old one. You will be responsible for return shipping, however we will cover the shipping on the new item.

*Each item is photographed to it’s very best to display accurate colors, measurements and patterns. Please beware that various computer/mobile devices have different color display profiles. Items with slight variances will not be considered defective, as each item may be unique in pattern/color.
